About the Author

I am a wife, mother of 2, IT Consultant, and Personal Financial Planning enthusiast.

By the time I was 25 years old I purchased my first home, by 27 years old I purchased a rental property, and before 30 built a financial portfolio above $1 million dollars and net worth of $1.5 million.

I was able to build financially through savings, investing, and smart real estate investments.

This book is a culmination of materials, lessons, and activities that I have crafted over the years for the classes and seminars that I have hosted at various universities and conferences. Based on my experiences teaching and discussing Financial Literacy and the importance of planning for retirement, I realized a significant gap in our educational system when it comes to personal financial planning.

This book is a first step to help educate and encourage as many individuals as possible to make conscious decisions related to their spending habits, savings and investments, taking out loans, planning for retirement, and not living paycheck to paycheck regardless of income level.
